YOUth Thrive! Project

YOUth Thrive! aims to help teens develop relationship and life skills that will prepare them to transition into adulthood and achieve academic, financial, and personal goals. This program is offered to high school students grades 9th-12th across Wyoming in partnership with traditional and alternative high schools and teachers and is currently in full swing in Park, Laramie, Sheridan, Albany, Campbell, Platte, Hot Springs, Washakie, and Uinta Counties.

YOUth Thrive! uses evidence-based curriculum, REAL Essentials Advance, developed by The Center for Relationship Education. REAL Essentials Advance is the country’s leading relationship education curriculum. It is specifically designed to equip young people with skills for combating challenges they face in adolescence. Lesson content captivates the heart and directs students toward positive decision making.  All lessons are inclusive, evidence based and medically accurate. Included are Parent/guardian and trusted adult connection activities that offer conversation starters on developing and maintaining healthy relationships, as well as choosing partners and friends.
